Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on December 26, 2023, issued a notification regarding the imposition of anti-dumping duty on certain goods.

The following has been stated: -

•The Central Government, after considering the final findings of the designated authority, imposes on “Gypsum Board / Tiles with lamination at least on one side” (referred to as the subject goods), anti-dumping duty at the rate equal to the amount as specified in the table attached below.

•The anti-dumping duty imposed under this notification shall be levied for a period of five years (unless revoked, superseded, or amended earlier) from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette and shall be payable in Indian currency.
