The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on January 02, 2024, issued a notification regarding the amendment to the Milk and Milk Products (Quality Control, Inspection and Monitoring) Rules, 2020
The following has been amended namely: -
• In Paragraph 15 clause (a) which specifies that milk and milk products shall be subjected to quality control or inspection or both before export in cases where importing countries require such an export certification shall be amended as follows namely: -
“(a) notifies that the milk and milk products shall be subjected to quality control or inspection or both prior to export. However, the Health certificate shall be required only in the case, where the importing country has specific requirements for the same”
