Commercial ComplianceThe Government of Maharashtra on January 02, 2024, declared the date on which the provisions related to Chapter VI, which states “Acquisition and Disposal of Land” of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1961 shall cease to be in force in the said areas.

The following has been stated:

• It is of the opinion that the said areas in the Village Pathardi, Umroli, Talegaon, Margatamhane Khurd, Margatamhane, Ambere Budruk, Kalmundi in Taluka Chiplun & Gimvi, Zombadi, Devghar, Mundhar, Mundhar Khurd, Chikhali, Madhal, Taluka Guhagar of District Ratnagiri mentioned in the schedule appended to the said notification are not required for the purpose of development as an industrial area.

• It has declared January 02, 2023, as the date on which the provisions of chapter VI, which states “Acquisition and Disposal of Land” of the Maharashtra Industrial Development Act, 1961 shall cease to be in force in the said areas and the said areas shall not be the industrial area so declared, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before that date.
