Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on January 03, 2024, notified the Laboratory Glassware (Quality Control) Order, 2023.

The following has been stated: -

•Rule 2 talks about Conformity to standards and Compulsory use of Standard Marks.

•Rule 3 talks about the Certification and Enforcement Authority which is the Bureau of Indian Standards.

•Rule 4 talks about the Penalty for contravention.

It shall come into force on the expiry of six months from January 03, 2024.
