The Government of Haryana on January 04, 2024, issued the Mukhyamantri Vyapari Samuhik Niji Durghatna Yojana Scheme with an objective to compensate the beneficiaries in case of accidental death and permanent disability as defined in the scheme.
This scheme shall come into operation from the financial year 2023-24.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that a compensation of Rs. 5 lakh to the beneficiaries in case of accidental death or permanent disability.
• It states that the beneficiary will register for the scheme through an online portal developed by HTWB and HPSN with an annual (Financial Year) registration fee of Rs.10/- per lakh or as prescribed. This fee will be collected by HTWB and then HTWB will Transfer the Funds to the Trust. The Board shall inform the beneficiaries of coverage under the MVSNDY through advertisement on the portal and through promotion activity.
• It states that the Following documents will be provided to the Trust while lodging the claim namely:-
(i) Intimation letter
(ii) Claim Form
(iii)Nominee Bank Details (Passbook/cancel cheque)
(iv) Aadhaar Card of deceased/claimant
(v) Death /Permanent Disability Certificate from Medical Authority
(vi) Hospital Discharge summary (in case of disability)
(vii) Postmortem report (in case of death)
(viii)Verified Claim Form
(ix) Copy of FIR/Inquest Report
• It further states that the detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for implementation of the scheme are being issued separately.
