The Government of Punjab on January 03, 2024, issued an amendment to an older notification no. S.O. 15/P.A.5/2017/S.3/2017 related to the appointment of the officers under the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
The following has been stated:
• In the Table, after serial number 6 and entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:
"7. Excise and Taxation Inspectors - State Tax Inspectors"
This notification will be in force for a period of 6 months from January 03, 2024.
