The University Grants Commission (UGC) on January 08, 2024, issued a notification regarding bringing UG courses in Management and Computer Applications under AICTE Regulations
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that AICTE has decided to regulate institutions offering BBA, BMS & BCA courses in view of maintaining uniform quality & academic standards across Management and Computer Applications Programs on similar lines of Post Graduate Courses/Programmes (MCA/MBA).
• It states that the approved Institutes shall have benefits like Faculty Development Programs, Scholarship Schemes for students, Model Curriculum, Free access to E-Books in Indian Languages through the e-Kumbh Portal, Margdarshan Scheme for Institutions, PARAKH - Performance Analysis and Review for Holistic Development, etc.
• The State Public Universities are requested to communicate the above information to all its affiliated institutions that are offering or intend to offer programs/courses in BBA, BMS & BCA, for compliance.
