The Government of Jharkhand on January 05, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Aadhaar (Data Security) Regulation, 2016.
Various services are provided to the citizens by various departments of the state government using the Information Asset of UIDAI. Security of UIDAI's Information Assets is of paramount importance and the confidentiality, integrity and availability of UIDAI's Information Assets has to be ensured by these agencies at all times.
Therefore, after due consideration, the State Government has approved the Aadhaar (Data in the Light of Security) Regulation, 2016 and the Aadhaar (Sharing of Information) Regulation, 2016, "Information Security Policy for Aadhaar Ecosystem, 2023" and "Data Privacy Policy for Aadhaar Ecosystem, 2023" of Jharkhand Government have been approved.
