The Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) on January 02, 2024, notified regarding the Harmonization of Classification of Industrial Sectors into Red, Orange, Green and White Categories, regarding Tyre Pyrolysis Oil (TPO) industries.
The CPCB vide letter no. CPCB/IPC-IV/ROGW/6519-6564 dated November 30, 2023, has categorized 'Tyre Pyrolysis Oil (TPO)' industries and the same has been attached herewith.
The Board has already categorized 'Pyrolysis Plants' under the Red category at Sr. No. 1082. The modification/addition is made to the list of industries earlier categorized by the Board under the Red/Orange/Green/White category.
