Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Maharashtra on January 09, 2024, notified Bombay Prohibition (Privileges Fees) (Amendment) Rules, 2024 further to amend the Bombay Prohibition (Privileges Fees) Rules, 1954.

The following has been stated: -

•After rule 5A of the Bombay Prohibition (Privileges Fees) Rules, 1954, the following rule shall be added, namely: -

"5B. Fees for conducting agreement of licences: - The fees payable by any licensee for the privilege of having the agreement for conducting the business of his licence in Form FL-II granted under Bombay Foreign Liquor Rules, 1953 under any agreement, to any person being his agent with the previous sanction of the licensing authority granting the licence, shall be 50 per cent of the applicable licence fee, which shall be levied annually."
