Secretarial ComplianceThe Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on January 11, 2024, issued a Consultation Paper on Interim Recommendations of the Expert Committee for facilitating ease of doing business and harmonization of the provisions of ICDR and LODR Regulations.

The objective of this consultation paper is to seek comments/views/suggestions from the public and other stakeholders on interim recommendations of the Expert Committee for facilitating ease of doing business and harmonization of the provisions of the ICDR and LODR Regulations.

SEBI, pursuant to its press release dated October 4, 2023, invited suggestions from the public and regulated entities to simplify, ease and reduce the cost of compliance under various SEBI regulations. The comments received from the public are being deliberated in the Working Groups formed by the Expert Committee. 

Meanwhile, the Expert Committee has submitted a report containing interim recommendations for facilitating ease of doing business. The report of the Expert Committee can be accessed here.

The Public Comments are solicited on the interim recommendations of the Expert Committee. The comments/suggestions along with the rationale should be sent only by email to [email protected] in the prescribed format, no later than February 01, 2024.
