The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on January 10, 2024, notified regarding the Extension of DG-ESIC Rate Contract Nos. 142C-146C.
It is hereby informed, that two drugs have been approved for inclusion in the List of drugs that have been accorded extension for procurement through DG ESIC RC 145C.
Procurement of all 31 exempted drugs as per OM's dated April 03, 2023, and December 19, 023 through respective DG ESIC Rate Contracts is extended up to March 31, 2024, or till further orders issued by Govt. of India, whichever is earlier.
No supply order should be placed for the remaining identified 55 drugs through respective DG ESIC RCs till further orders.
All Heads of Units/Incharges are further directed to ensure that procurement for the remaining 55 drugs in the interim period should be done as per prescribed procedure after due diligence to Govt. of India initiative for Make in India.
There is no change in the validity of the extension for the remaining 475 drugs manufactured by Indian manufacturers, which remains unchanged as of April 30, 2024, or till the finalisation of new DGESIC Rate Contracts.
