Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on January 12, 2024, published the Insecticides (First Amendment) Rules, 2024 to further amend the Insecticides Rules, 1971.

This shall come into force on January 12, 2024

The following has been stated namely: -

• In Rule 19 which states the “Manner of Labelling” in sub-rule (3), in “Explanation”, in clause (i), for the word “six”, the word “nine” shall be substituted.
