Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on December 21, 2023, issued a circular regarding the approval of the DUS Test Guidelines for Lilium under the Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers Rights Rules, 2003.

The following has been stated namely: -

•It has approved the DUS Test Guidelines for the following crop species namely: -

(i)Lilium (Lill= sp. (Asiatic, LA, OT, and Oriental hybrids)

(ii) Jasmine (Jasminum spp.)

(iii) Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera (L.)

(iv) Olive (Olen europaea L.)

(v) Anthurium (Anthurium andraeanum)
