Commercial ComplianceThe National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on January 12, 2024, issued a notification regarding classes of vehicles that are prohibited from using some highways.

The following has been stated: -

•In the exercise of powers conferred under Section 35 of "The Control of National Highways (Land and Traffic) Act, 2002", it is ordered that the following classes of vehicles are prohibited from using the highways mentioned in the document attached below:

i.Motor Cycles (including scooters and other-wheelers);

ii. Three-wheelers (including e-Carts and e-Rickshaws);

iii. Non-motorized vehicles;

iv. Agricultural Tractors (with or without trailers); and

v.Multi Axle Hydraulic Trailer Vehicles

vi. Quadri-Cycles.
