Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare (MoAFW) on December 21, 2023, issued the notification regarding the time limit for registration of extant varieties of certain crop species.

The Time-limit of 10 years from the date of publication of approval of Authority in Plant Variety Journal of India has been issued for registration of Extant Notified Variety, Extant Variety about which there is Common Knowledge and Farmers Variety.

The following are the crops namely: -

• Lilium

• Jasmine

• Ashwagandha

• Olive

• Anthurium
