The Government of Maharashtra on January 15, 2024, issued a notification amending notification no. VAT.1509/CR-89/Taxation-1, dated November 05, 2009, related to the grant of refund of tax collected by registered dealers on sales made to diplomatic authorities or international bodies.
This shall come into effect from September 26, 2023
The following has been amended namely: -
• In the SCHEDULE appended to the said Notification, under the heading (II)-Other Organisations, in column (2), in entry 2, after the sub-entry (iii), the following sub-entry shall be added, namely:-
"(iv) Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre (TECC), in Mumbai
