The Government of Kerala on January 18, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Mandatory labelling of parcelled food.

The following has been stated:

• It has stated that the label should state the time the food was prepared and the expiration date.

• The Food packets marketed online should also be labelled.

• Action will be taken against those selling unlabelled parcel food.
