Industry Specific Compliance The Rajya Sabha on December 08, 2024, notified the Food Safety and Standards (Amendment) Act, 2022 to further amend the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

The following has been amended-

After Chapter II of the principal Act, the Regulation of Sale and Advertising of Food Products Causing Obesity Amongst Children Chapter and sections thereunder shall be inserted
