The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on January 19, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Redemption Price for premature redemption due on January 20, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The next due date of premature redemption of the above tranche will be January 20, 2024 (January 21 and 22 being Sunday and holiday respectively).
• The redemption price for premature redemption due on January 20, 2024 (January 21 and 22 being Sunday and holiday respectively) shall be ₹6,221/- per unit of SGB based on the simple average of closing gold price for three business days i.e., January 17-19, 2024.
