The Government of Karnataka on January 20, 2024, issued a draft Karnataka Excise (Excise Duties and Fees) (Amendment) Rules, 2024 further to amend the Karnataka Excise (Excise Duties and Fees) Rules, 1968.
The following has been stated: -
•In Schedule-D which is about the name of the article and the Rate of Additional Excise Duty/Additional Countervailing Duty per Bulk litre on goods, Serial Number II which is about Beer (bottled) and the entries relating thereto have been substituted. The detailed schedule is given in the document below.
Any objection or suggestion from any person with respect to the draft may be submitted before the expiry of seven days from January 22, 2024.
