Finance & Taxation Compliance The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on January 23, 2024, issued an amendment in the import policy condition of Glufosinate Technical covered under HS Code 38089390 of Chapter 38 of Schedule –I (Import Policy) of ITC (HS) 2022.

The following amendment has been stated:

• The import policy of ‘Glufosinate Technical’ under ITC (HS) Code 38089390 is revised from "Free" to “Prohibited”. However, import shall be free if the CIF value is Rs. 1289/- or above per Kg.

• This will be effective from January 25, 2024.
