The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) on January 15, 2024, issued a notification regarding cancellation/amendments of the Udyam Registration Certificate.
The following has been stated: -
•In pursuance of Para 9(4) of this Ministry's Notification Number S.O. 2119 (E) dated June 26, 2020, and to facilitate the speedy disposal of grievances related to discrepancy or complaint(s) pertaining to updating requests and to take action on the recommendations of Directorate of Industries for cancellation/amendments of the Udyam Registration Certificate within 48 Hours, the Competent Authority hereby authorizes MSME-DFOs to take such action to resolve the issue in the State/UTs of their jurisdiction on behalf of this Ministry.
