The Government of Rajasthan on January 29, 2024, issued the Municipal Board Pushkar (Licence for keeping Animal in Residential Premises) Bye-laws, 2023.
The following provisions have been stated:
• Term of a License
The license granted under these bye-laws shall be valid for a period of 1 year commencing from April 01 of each year and shall be operative till March 31 of the subsequent year and shall be renewable for a similar period, from time to time. For renewal, an application in Form-A along with the proof of payment of the renewal fee shall be submitted before the end of March 31. If the Licensee fails to submit an application within time, an additional fee at the rate of fifty rupees per day shall be payable but it shall not exceed Rs. 5000.
• Transfer of license
The License granted under these bye-laws shall not be transferable however it may be transferred to the legal heirs of the Licensee.
• Suspension or cancellation of license
License granted under these by-laws may be suspended or cancelled on the grounds of public safety or health hazardous or violation of any condition of the license. Before passing an order of suspension or cancellation of the license an opportunity of being heard shall be given to the licensee.
