Finance & Taxation Compliance The Government of Meghalaya on January 23, 2024, issued a notification regarding MSL Rate Notification on Diesel Oil.

The Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to modify and revise the rate of tax on Diesel oil and other internal combustion oils and to further specify that the rate of tax is 5% or 17.50/- (Rupees seven and fifty paise) only per litre whichever is higher and pollution surcharge is Pollution surcharge of 10 (ten) paise per litre.

It will come into force with effect from January 24, 2024.
