Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on January 30, 2024, notified regarding the framework for restricting trading by Designated Persons (“DPs”) by freezing PAN at the security level.

The following has been stated:

The outlined framework for restricting trading by designated persons through freezing PAN at the security level will also apply to the remaining equity-listed companies on BSE, NSE and MSEI.

The companies that qualify must include all equity ISINs and ISINs that are convertible into equity.

This circular shall come into force for trading window closure with effect from April 01, 2024.
