Industry Specific ComplianceThe Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) on January 22, 2024, issued an advisory regarding the Change of name of the existing mandatory TV channel "DD Podhigai" as "DD Tamil" in the list of channels to be mandatorily carried by DPOs.

The following has been stated namely: -

• A list of channels has been specified that are to be mandatorily carried by the MSOs and Cable Operators on their cable TV Networks.

• The name of the mandatory TV channel “DD Podhigai" has been changed to state “DD Tamil”
