The Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) on January 30, 2024, issued a notification regarding the amendments to the International Code for Application of Fire Test Procedures and its applicability
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the IMO has issued various amendments to the International Code for Application of Fire Test Procedures (FTP code) from time to time, and has been annexed to this Order at Annexure- I
• It states that these amendments shall be applicable to Indian vessels
• The stakeholders are advised to be guided by this Order towards compliance with the provisions to give Full effect to the FTP Code, as amended
