The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on January 30, 2024, issued a notification regarding the De-Registration of Aircraft with an Expired Certificate of Airworthiness/ Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC)
The following has been stated: -
•The Certificate of Airworthiness/ Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) for a number of aircraft on the register has expired for a period of five years or more.
•The concerned Owners/ Operators are requested to provide their comments (if any) within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice in respect of the aircraft listed in Appendix A.
•In case no response is received within the above-stipulated timeframe, DGCA will initiate the deregistration process under sub-rule (6) (v) of rule 30 of the Aircraft Rules, 1937.
