The Kerala State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) on December 13, 2023, issued a notification regarding User fee exemption
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the user fee shall be waived on the basis of local certification by the building owner specifying that the building is and does not generate any waste.
• It states that the user of the rented building is liable to pay the user fee imposed in case of tenancy agreement the user fee shall be paid by the tenant.
• It states that the User fee shall not be waived if the rental building is used for commercial purposes by poor
