The Warehousing Regulatory and Development Authority (WRDA) on January 01, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Submission of Quarterly Returns by the warehouseman registered.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It has directed all the warehousemen to submit "Quarterly Return" confirming due compliances with the Registration Rules in a prescribed format on WDRA's Portal.
• The Warehouseman shall ensure the requisite information/ declaration on the portal within 30 days from the completion of reporting quarter. In order to bring ease of reporting, the WDRA portal is enabled with necessary changes.
• It further states that all compliance officers/Authorized Representatives of the registered warehouse shall submit Quarterly Return only through the WDRA portal.
• The Reporting quarter for the purpose of the return shall be January to March, April to June, July to August, and September to December.
• All warehousemen shall adhere to the above circular and submit due information on a timely basis
• In case of non-submission of "Quarterly Return" in time, necessary action will be taken as per the W(D&R) Act/Rules/Regulations.
