The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) on January 29, 2024, issued a notification regarding the withdrawal of LLP from the Register.
The following has been stated:
• It has stated that 21 LLPs (List Enclosed) have made an application in Form 24 to the registrar for striking off their names from the Register, under sub-rule (1)(b) of Rule 37, which states “Striking Off Name of Defunct LLP”, of LLP Rules, 2009, read with Section 75, which states “Power of Registrar to strike defunct limited liability partnership off register”, of the Limited Liability Partnership Act, 2008.
