The Government of Tripura on January 25, 2024, issued the Restriction sold not before February 01, 2024, and registered not before February 07, 2024, on plying of E-Rickshaws in areas falling under Sadar Sub-division under West Tripura District.
The following has been stated:
• It has stated that any e-rickshaw sold on February 01, 2024, or after and registered on February 07, 2024, or after being found plying in the territorial limits of Sadar Sub Division, West Tripura District shall be liable for prosecution under section 192A, which states “Using a vehicle without permit”, of MV Act, 1988.
