The University Grants Commission (UGC) on February 02, 2024, issued the Implementation of "UGC Guidelines for Internship/Research Internship for Undergraduate Students.
UGC has formulated Guidelines for Internship/Research Internship for Undergraduate Students and these are aimed at improving employability skills and can help in generating competency, capability, professional working skills, expertise, and confidence among the students for employability and developing interest/passion for research.
All the Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are requested to take necessary action for implementation of the guidelines in letter and spirit.
Further, it is Informed that UGC may review the implementation of these guidelines by the Universities/Colleges as part of the National Education Policy 2020 implementation plan and take suitable measures thereof.
