EHS ComplianceThe Government of Haryana on February 01, 2024, issued a notification regarding the declaration of certain areas as “controlled area” under the Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Act, 2009.

The following has been stated: -

•The Government of Haryana declared the District Kaithal as a “controlled area” for restriction of movement of equine species (horses, donkeys, mules) within or outside the district and bordering States to prevent, control, and contain the Glanders disease. The holding of races, fairs, exhibitions, games, and gatherings of such animals in the Kaithal District is also prohibited.
