Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on February 02, 2024, amended an older notification No. 18/2022-Central Excise, dated July 19, 2022, related to Excise Duty on production of Petroleum Crude.

The following has been stated: -

•In the notification, in the Table, -

(i) Against S. No. 1, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 3200 per tonne” shall be substituted.

This notification shall come into force on February 03, 2024.
