The Government of Kerala on February 05, 2024, issued the notification regarding the modifications to the Guidelines for the MSME Insurance Scheme.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The following modifications have been made with respect to the Sanctioning Authority/Recommending Authority clause of the guidelines for the MSME Insurance Scheme:
"The respective Industries Extension Officer shall be the recommending authority for assistance under the scheme. He shall submit the application before the sanctioning authority with the recommendation for disbursing the assistance or rejection, whichever the case may be. The Assistant District Industries Officer concerned shall be the sanctioning authority.".
