The Government of Karnataka on January 10, 2024, issued the Karnataka Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) (Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the Karnataka Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Rules, 1983.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In rule 20, which states “Application” in sub-rule (1):
I. For Table 1(a) and entries thereunder, the following shall be substituted as specified in the Table.
II. For Table I(b) and entries thereunder, the following shall be substituted as specified in the Table.
This notification will come into force from January 10, 2024.
