The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) on February 05, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Fifth Amendment to the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms and Conditions for Determination of Tariff for Wheeling and Retail Sale of Electricity) Regulation, 2005.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Distribution licensees requested the Commission to make certain amendments having made a comparative analysis of regulations issued by various State Electricity Regulatory Commissions (SERCs).
• Based on the comments/suggestions received on the draft amendments, the commission has decided to adopt the amendments proposed in the draft without alterations in cases where stakeholders have neither submitted comments for modification nor expressed opposition.
• The finalised fifth amendment with modification is attached to the Annexure.
