The Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority (ORERA) on February 07, 2024, issued the Directions regarding the audit of accounts.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It has been directed that all the accounts of the project shall be audited and certified by a Chartered Accountant (in practice) other than the one engaged by the promoter for filing of QPR.
• This will help provide a clear picture of the total cost involved in the development of the project with respect to amounts realized from the homebuyers and utilization thereof
This shall come into force from February 07, 2024
