BSE notified regarding the Discontinuation of Weekly Futures and Options contract on Stocks in Equity Derivatives Segment

Secretarial ComplianceBombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on February 09, 2024, issued a circular regarding the Discontinuation of Weekly Futures and Options contracts on Stocks in the Equity Derivatives Segment

This has a reference Exchange notice no – 20190830-4 dated August 30, 2019, regarding the Introduction of Weekly Futures and Options contracts on Stocks in Equity Derivatives.

The following has been stated namely: -

• it is requested that the Weekly Futures and Options contract on Stocks in Equity Derivatives Segment will be discontinued with effect from February 16, 2024. 

• It states that All the weekly futures and options contracts on stocks with an expiry date of February 15, 2024, and beyond will expire on February 15, 2024.

• It states that No weekly futures and options contracts on stocks will be available for trading with effect from February 16, 2024.

• It further states that there will be ‘No change’ in existing futures and options contracts on stocks with ‘Monthly Expiry’ and Index derivatives weekly and monthly expiry contracts.
