The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) on February 13, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the levy of Environmental Compensation (EC) to the industries/facilities for exceeding the standards prescribed by the Board based on Real Time Pollution Monitoring System (RTPMS) data
The following has been stated namely: -
• The ROs and Zos are directed to comply with the procedure that is stipulated in approved SOPs for the levy of Environmental Compensation (EC) to the industries/facilities for exceeding the standards prescribed by the Board based on Real Time Pollution Monitoring System (RTPMS), duly complying with the procedure in the agenda, approved by the Board.
