The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on February 12, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Implementation of TLS 1.2 (only with strong ciphers) and TLS 1.3.
TLS (Transport Layer Security) is the protocol that secures HTTPS. TLS provides secure communication between web browsers and servers.
To enhance data and communications security, it has been decided to permit TLS 1.2 (only with strong ciphers) and TLS 1.3 protocols.
For members connecting to the application using any other variant of clients (like for making API call), members are requested to check and make necessary changes at their end so that the client supports connections over TLS 1.2 (only with a strong cipher) or TLS 1.3.
All Market Participants are to know that the eIPO platform (https://www.eipouat.com/eipo/bidux/login.jsp) would only support communication over TLS 1.2 requested (only with a strong cipher) or TLS 1.3 with effect from March 15, 2024.
