The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on February 14, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Actions in case of failure to settle a deal on Request for Quote Platform Individual Investors
This shall come into force on February 14, 2024
The following has been stated namely: -
• This is in partial modification to Exchange circular NSE/DS/60039 dated December 29, 2023, regarding "Actions in case of failure to settle a deal on Request for Quote (RFQ) platform — Individual Investors".
• It is requested to note that, there shall be no penal action effected for Individual Investors until the trade date of February 29, 2024, in case of failure to settle a deal post execution of trade on the RFQ Platform.
• It further states that The identification of Individual Investors will be done as per Income Tax PAN classification.
