The Government of Andhra Pradesh on February 13, 2024, issued a notification regarding amendments to the Andhra Pradesh Assigned Lands (Prohibition of Transfers) Rules, 2007.
The following has been stated: -
•Rule 7 which is about the Penalty has been amended.
•Rule 8 which is about the Protection of action taken is amended.
•Rule 9 which is about the Power to make rules has been amended.
• Rules 10 and 11 shall be omitted.
The Special Chief Secretary & Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, Andhra Pradesh, and all the District Collectors in the State shall take further necessary action accordingly in the matter.
