The Government of Maharashtra on February 15, 2024, notified Bombay Foreign Liquor (Second Amendment) Rules, 2024 to further amend the Bombay Foreign Liquor Rules, 1953.
The following has been stated-
•In clause (6), in sub-clause (1), after entry (v), the following entry shall be added, namely:-
•"(vi) Craft Beer as defined in the Maharashtra Manufacture of Beer and Wine Rules, 1966.".
•In Rule 30 of the principal Rules, in the second proviso, the words and figures "of not less than 5 litres" shall be deleted.
•In Rule 50 of the principal Rules, in the third proviso, the words and figures "of not less than 5 litres" shall be deleted
