The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on February 15, 2024, issued an amendment to notification no. 36/2001-Customs (N.T.), dated August 03, 2001, which states ‘The tariff values of Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, and RBD Palmolein’
The following has been amended namely: -
• Table – 1 which states “Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, Crude Palmolein, etc.” has been amended
• Table – 2 which states “Gold, in any form, Silver, in any form, etc.” has been amended
• Table – 3 which states “Areca Nuts” has been amended
This shall come into force on February 16, 2024
