Secretarial Compliance The Indian Clearing Corporation Limited (ICCL) on February 14, 2024, issued a notification regarding a change in the Initial margin for Silver.

The following has been stated: -

•It is decided to revise the minimum Initial margin (%) and Short option minimum margin (SOMM) in silver contracts (across all variants) w.e.f. February 15, 2024, as per risk containment measures.

•Applicable Minimum IM (%) and Short Option Minimum Margin % (SOMM) is 13.
