The Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission, (MPERC) on February 13, 2024, issued an extension of the control period for the tariff order dated September 21, 2021, for procurement of power by Distribution Licensees generated from Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) based power projects in the State of Madhya Pradesh.
The control period is due to expire on March 31, 2024.
The Commission is in the process of fixation of norms and determination of tariff for the next control period which shall take some time to finalise.
The Commission decides to extend the control period until further orders.
All other terms and conditions of the tariff order dated September 21, 2021, shall remain unchanged.
