The Government of Uttar Pradesh on February 15, 2024, notified regarding the variable dearness allowances for all categories of workers employed in engineering factories employing 50 or more than 50 workers in the state.
The All India Consumer Price Index for workers employed in engineering units will be at 239 points from July 2023 to December 2023 and the average point of the index will be 400 from February 01, 2024 to July 31, 2024, as per the illustration. Variable dearness allowance will be admissible to category workers.
